A MummyVision Guide To Hallowe'en On Roku - Day #22 HEY !... HEY !!... HEY !!!... WHAT'S... IN YOUR HEAD ?!! IN YOUR HEAD... ZOMBIE... ZOMBIE... ZOM-BEE ?!!!

Welcome back, Boils & Ghouls !!

There's now just 9 days remaining in the Countdown To Hallowe'en 2013, meaning that we have now reached day twenty-two of "A MummyVision Guide To Hallowe'en On Roku", which is the name I've given to my (current) month-long blogathon, that culminates on 31st October 2013. In case you missed the previous instalments, this series of posts began with details of a Hallowe'en ScreamSaver, complete with it's own spooky soundtrack, followed by a Roku channel dedicated to Vintage Horror Classics, then some Hallowe'en "How-To" videos, a Roku channel for fans of the paranormal and then another for devotees of independent horror. After that came a channel dedicated to the open discussion of UFO's and UFO-related activities plus a further selection of Cult Films, Sci-Fi Classics & Vintage Horror. Since then, we've provided details of a Roku channel brimming with creepy cocktail suggestions, another with more classic Hallowe'en movie choices, and then details of a Roku channel that mixes paranormal reality tv shows with powerful documentaries, mysteries, conspiracy theories, UFO's and plenty else besides. The next two instalments saw yet more Horror, Sci-Fi & Fantasy movies on one channel plus some Hallowe'en / Horror-themed music, courtesy of a Roku radio channel, on another. We then brought you details of a live-streaming horror channel, to add yet another dynamic to the Hallowe'en entertainment on your Roku players plus some close encounters of the third kind, courtesy of a Roku channel dedicated to the subject of aliens and UFO's. Add to that two more Roku channels bringing fresh selections of Sci-Fi & Horror Movies plus more "Halloween Horror" films, then another channel with a bunch of J-Horror, K-Horror and every other kind of Asian horror that you can imagine. Then throw in yet another helping of vintage horror movies, together with a whole host of Hallowe'en recipes to add to the macabre menu for your spooktacular soirée. Add to that a side-order of indie underground horror seasoned with a dash of the weird & paranormal plus some more hard-to-find horror movies & TV series and you're all set for a real fright feast, with everything we've covered in this spooktacular series of Hallowe'en posts !!

Meanwhile, here we are with only nine days to go until Hallowe'en and, we're still not yet done with bringing horror to the masses by streaming it to their Roku players. So... where do we go from here?!! Well, given that "The Walking Dead" has just returned to our television screens, it seems only fair to throw a little zombie action into the mix for this series of Hallowe'en posts. Fortunately, we didn't have to look too far before we came across a Roku channel that offered not only 'regular' zombie movies, or "Z-Movies" as some call them, but also zombie exploitation, or (yep, you guessed it!) "Z-Exploitation" movies, as well as more films featuring the undead, slashers & killers, plus original indie horror programming and a whole lot more besides. Suffice to say that, if you're partial to watching the best in classic horror & science fiction, you'll definitely want to add this channel to your macabre movie viewing, as we count down the final days to Hallowe'en !!

It probably comes as no surprise to you, that this Indie Horror Series & Horror Movie-based Roku channel can be found in the "Film & TV" genre (i.e. category) of the "Official" Roku UK Channel Store (or, "Movies & TV", for those of you in the USA). Generally speaking, the 'Zom-Bee TV' channel on Roku provides "All horror, all free, all the time". For you, this means an assortment of vintage horror & sci-fi movies, plus the best in original indie horror programming, as well as all the very latest news & insider tidbits from the world of horror. With categories ranging from things like Films Of The Undead, to Slashers & Killers, to the aforementioned Z-Movies and Z-Exploitation, PLUS original  programming as found under "Cinema Insomnia", hosted by the amazing and mystifying Mr. Lobo, and the cacophonous "mega-metal twist" of Mike Benedict & Shane Diablo's cadaver palaver of a video podcast, otherwise known as "The Corpse Collective", and you'll never be hard-pushed to find something that suits your taste. Add to that the yard haunt creation expertise & Hallowe'en prop-making insight found in the "How-To" style videos from the "Dead With Dave" category and you could well be set for possibly the best Hallowe'en season ever. Better yet... all the films, video podcasts & television series featured on 'Zom-Bee TV' are FREE-TO-WATCH too !!

Despite having multiple genres to choose from in the main menu of the 'Zom-Bee TV' channel, pretty much all of the included content is completely relevant to this post. In fact, you'd be hard pushed to find anything on this Roku channel that doesn't fit the general theme of Hallowe'en. It may be a crudely disguised fact, given that they have credited Dale Jackson as the developer, but a little research will tell you that Dale Jackson (who happens to be the director of "Maxwell Stein", as recommended above) is also one of the co-founders of the 'Zom-Bee TV' channel. So, obviously, his talents don't just end with directing horror movies and providing us with FREE films & original programming to fulfil our television & movie-watching needs !!
